I am thrilled to have found mention of my uncle, Bernie Waterman ,a jazz pianist. He is mentioned in 2 different submissions.
My immediate family lived in Brighton for about 4 or 5 years from about 1943 to 1947 before we migrated to Australia. I was only 5 when I left but still have memories of the piers,the promenade & deckchairs & also the kiddies wading pool My grandfather Leon Waterman had a gents
hairdressers, where he , Bernie & my father Ted worked as barbers.
