In the “Sussex Weekly Advertiser’” on September 9th 1805 there appeared the following notices:
p.3. Notice by John Lucas and Henry Hobden of Brighthelmston dissolving their partnership as brewers and maltsters
p.3. To Let – old established Common Brewhouse in Middle Street, Brighton in occupation of Messrs Lucas and Hobden.
Can anyone give me any more information on either the brewhouse concerned, or Henry Hobden please?
