In the 40’s/early 50’s I seem to remember something being washed up on the beach, the memory gets hazy and I can’t recall if it was a whale or some kind of boat, can anyone help. I lived just along from Gloucester place/Street and there was a cinema there and I can recall a cage of monkeys being in the foyer to advertise a film, can anyone remember this and what was the film?
