I worked for a short while in the Brighton bus office in Lewis Road around 1950. I remember that it was a bit dickensian with the two “bosses” Mr Tullet and Mr Packer sitting on tall stools while the rest of us sat at desks. The General Manager was down the corridor in an office which everyone treated as the “Holy of Holies”.
Anyone else remember working there?
