Back in the 60’s & 70’s my dad (and sometimes brothers) used to play for Brighton Stragglers Cricket Club. Their home ground was East Brighton Park and they played a range of teams across Sussex and into Surrey on Sunday afternoons although, as far as I know, never played in any league or cup competitions, playing only ‘friendlys’ for the pleasure of the game.
Does anyone else remember the team (does it still exist? – I vaguely recall that it folded due to lack of players) or have any information about them or their history?
