Re: Broadbridge Family by Bob 15 January 2008And there are six members of the Sussex Family History Group (sfhg.org.uk) researching the name Broadbridge, some of whom provide e-mail addresses. Re: Broadbridge Family by John Broadbridge 4 February 2021 10:36 AMThis was the hairdressers that I believe was on Marine Parade and owned by my Great Grandad Alfred Broadbridge, hairdresser and wig maker. Two of his sons were also hairdressers; George who went on to own a prestigious salon in Leaden Hall Street in the City of London; and Walter James Broadbridge ( my Grandfather) who, I believe ran a hairdressers in Hove called the Don. I understand he loved the races and kept company with Sir Jeremiah Colman, Alderman and Mayor, and with Marcus Samuel, founder of Shell. I would love any information, stories or photographs that would add to my family history. Add your replyHiddenAdd your title Add your wordsWould you like to add some images (optional)?
