Hi – I currently live in Hangleton near St Helen’s. We are going to buy a 3 bed family home and like (and can afford!) to buy in Hangleton (maybe Elm Drive area) or Patcham (possibly Mackie Ave area). I know Patcham far less well (having lived for 4 years here in Hangleton). I think the schools are probably better in Hangleton (well secondary anyway).
Which would be safer, prettier, more desirable, has a strong sense of community? Any thoughts on either side would be very gratefully received!
