I have just been viewing on this site a lovely photograph of Blackman Road taken in 1959. One of your contributors, (Graham Camfield), responded to this in 2006 to say that his grandparents, William and Eliza Colebrook, lived at number 35 and 36 in the 1840s. My partner, Anita Colebrook is researching her family history and has recently found a direct link to a William Colebrook born in 1840 at 33, Wood Street, Brighton, he later moved to London (Holborn) and became a Boot Closer. I just wondered if Mr Camfield or any other members of the team had any additional info on the Colebrook family. Thank you for a great, and informative, site.
