Further to Brighton people abroad: I have been working in the Middle East recently and so have not kept up to date much with MB&H. Correspondents (including those below: “New Idea”) from far flung places may be intrigued to know that I met a man born in Nubia (southern Egypt)at a business I was visiting in Doha, Qatar. Although not a Brighton man he did study in Brighton and we subsequently spent a couple of hours reminiscing on Brighton matters in a very ethnic Turkish restaurant in Doha City. It turned out that he rented a flat in Brunswick Town just yards from where I once lived. How bizarre life can be!
