Does anybody know of any records kept of flymen or can proprietors in Brighton circa 1799 – 1833. My ancestor Joseph Vicary was a flyman, lived for some time in Middle Street. There is also a marriage connection with William Self, cab proprietor. Also with the School House in Ivy Place where two Self or Vicary spinster sisters lived and taught
