I am researching my Great, Great, Great Uncle who was a seaside entertainer between 1900-1920. His name was Fred Austen and he toured with his own concert party called Fred Austen’s Merrie Middies and Maids. They appeared at Brighton West Pier and a postcard was produced of them by Foster and Harwood Brighton. I’ve never seen the postcard and don’t have much information about performances. Can anyone help? He also toured as Fred Austen’s Scarlet Cloakes. Thanks Chris
