Hi l wonder if anyone can help me. We have lived in Lancashire for the last 22yrs and moved back to this area two weeks ago. We currently live in Gloucester street and l was trying to find some general history of the street, l have seen in 1851 there was a orphans asylum for women in 1 the street. Can anyone help me with where l can look to find out any further information regarding this? Any interesting information about the street would be much appreciated. Thank you
