Hi – I’m looking for any info on James GREEN from Portslade; he lived at 204 Upper/Old Shoreham Rd.
Was an aide to Gen Montgomery during WWII. Father was Sidney/Sydney GREEN, believed to be owner/manager of the Petersfield Laundries in Brighton and Portslade. An Aunt of the family, Ida GREEN resided at The Nook, a house believed to be located in front of the laundry in Portslade. Any information on my GREEN family would be greatly appreciated
