Does anybody remember Jack Balls and his swap shop come secondhand shop near the bottom of Edward Street in the fifties. This shop was an Alladin’s cave of everything you would love to have. Better than a new toyshop. Full of guitars ice skates telescopes and loads more stuff. You could swap anything as long as Jack thought he would make a profit. I believe he was an ex policeman. He was a business man and he always got the better bargain, but even so it was a charming old shop.
