I’ve just discovered from a memorial card found at the bottom of an old drawer at my Grandmother’s house, that my Great-Grandfather’s uncle, Joseph Owen, drowned age 15 in Brighton in 1882. He was from London but must have been on a trip to the seaside – it happened on August 5th 1882. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to where I might find relevant newspaper reports?
