My great grandfather, whose surname is Nash lived in London and also had a house in Hove. During WW1 part of his house was used for soldiers to recuperate before being sent home or back to the front. He had a daughter Patricia Millicent, my grandmother, and she had a pony named Oh So Silky, so I am assuming this house was in the countryside rather than in town. If anyone has any information regarding the family or the home I would be extremely interested.
