There’s an exhibition of lithographs next month (July 2004) at Eastbourne’s Towner Art Gallery – these, by notable British artists such as Edward Ardizzone, John Nash, John Piper, Ruskin Spear, Duncan Grant and L.S. Lowry, were displayed in the various branches of Lyons in the 1950s. Does anyone know where the Brighton branch was located ? I’ve a vague feeling it was at the bottom of North Street…
