I would be interested in any information on John Newnham Builder who lived in Brighton all his life. 1828-1892. He was a builder who according to 1881 census employed 50 men and 6 boys. He lived at 9 York Place. If anyone has come across any references to this man or any buildings he worked on I would be very interested to know more. He is my husbands Great Grandfather. I know he married an Emily Whiffin in the Church of St Nicholas in 1851 and had a large family.
