does anyone remember buckler street in portslade this has long been demolished but i wonder if anyone remembers any of the following names—- Fuller—Goodman—Gladman—Gladwin—-thorpe—-newman if so i would be pleased to hear from them, also anyone who used the following pubs — the Tralfagar Portslade, Grenadier Arms and the Albion Pub prior to 1969. my husband was Albert Thorpe born in Portslade he went to school at St Nicholls school, served in Navy 1939 —– 1945 and then returned to Portslade where he worked as a bricklayer till his death in 1978, if anyone can help me with any details for his family we would be grateful joan thorpe [greenup]
