I have an ancestor – George Tobias Bird who lived in Brighton for many years. He was a Refreshment House Keeper in Goldstone Rd, Hove in 1881 but by 1891 and 1901 he is listed as a Preacher/Missionary. Rather a radical change! He lived in Southover St in 1891 and Queens Park Rd in 1901. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where he might have been a missionary in Brighton please? Thank you
