I was recently looking for the location of Preston Sanatorium, as it was in 1920, in the Preston Park area of Brighton but was advised that it was in fact near Whitehawk Road/Arundel Road.
Somebody said is was The French Convalescent Home on the corner of Madera Drive and Arundel Road.
My Grandfather died in there in January 1920. They were living in Whitehawk Road at the time of his death.
