I have a query on rationing that I hope someone can answer, but I would also love to read more general responses too.
My query concerns eating in a restaurant or tea rooms during WW2. Apart from paying, did you also have to produce sufficient coupons to cover your purchases? I ask, because many films from that period never seem to show this.
