I’m researching the boards that photographers used to use in seaside towns to take pictures of holidaymakers as eg the ‘fat lady’ or the ‘iron man’ – the fat lady/iron man being painted on the front and you as the holidaymaker stuck your head through a hole and became the fat lady/iron man’s head. Do you know if these boards had a name and where I might be able to get pictures of them? I’m living in Germany so web-based info is easier but anything will help – I desperately need some images of them.
