seeking locations in Brighton 1846/47

by Adele Maloney 23 July 2007

Hello all,
We will be visiting England soon and I hope to track down the various places where my ancestor, Charles Cox committed his crimes before being transported to Aust.in 1849.I was wondering if a kind soul could tell me if “King’s Head Inn”, Horsebridge (parish of Hellingly) still exists, also where “Tettersell’s Jolly Fisherman Beer Shop, near the market” might have been situated in Brighton in 1847, and ….are the street numbers of Hanover Street unchanged from 1846.
I have some very keen genealogists in the family who would be thrilled to bits if I can get a photo or two of these places. I would be very thankful if someone could point me in the right direction, please.
