My mum worked here during the second World War. She spoke of it with nostalgia and regrets for all the Commonwealth troopswho used it, went on campaigns and never came back. Does anyone know where it was based? Are there any photographs in existence Sadly Mum died in 1991. Her name was Sybil Coles.
