Sir David Scott (1782-1851), 2nd Baronet of Dunninald, was a prominent Brighton resident in the 19th century and a local magistrate. He lived at Sillwood Place, which he had built for him in 1827-8 and named after his family’s country estate (Sillwood Park in Berkshire). There is a bust of his in Brighton Museum & Art Gallery – has anyone come across an engraving or other portrait of Scott?
Any advice would be appreciated.
