On visiting St Nicholas’ Church and now seeing those lovely photos of it on your site, I’m curious as to why there is a weather-vane on its turret.Thought that there may have been a cross up there. It seems a bit unusual, I think. I really love the church and its beautiful, peaceful surrounds. The photos bring back lovely memories of our visit.
