I am seeking recollections from former Southern Region Drivers, Fireman and shed staff regarding their former working days on the Bulleid Pacifics in the days of British Railways for a new book to be published and now in preparation, will be formed completely of working memories either bad or good regarding the original or rebuilt versions of this remarkable class of locomotives from staff representing all of the former Southern sheds including Brighton, not all of the Southern sheds were allocated the Pacifics, such as my former shed at Yeovil Town, but nevertheless we worked on them daily. This is to be a major book regarding working memories and probably the first to feature anecdotes & recollections from most if not all of the former Southern Region locomotive sheds.
