As a lifelong Brightonian, I’ve always known King George VI Ave as Snakey Hill. I only recently discovered amongst your pages that there’s a steep hill near Upper Lewes Rd with the nickname: Cat’s Creep, but does anyone else know the Drove as : ‘Cat’s Climb’? A Brightonian pal of mine used the term recently, and I’d never heard it before. Shame on me.
