I have just been reading back through the last twenty or so pages; Isn’t it amazing the variety of subjects that have been mentioned. Everything from abbatoirs to breweries, and cinemas to theatres. The Brighton History Centre to The London Encyclopaedia, (1983 edition beside me as I write, – £3 in a charity shop a few years ago – Amazing tome isn’t it Peter) Greengrocers, furniture shops, schools, the GRO, garages, photographers, illuminations, railways, tramways, buses, Councillors, MPs and the dreaded football.It is an almost endless list. Is there any other site like this? Congratulations to all of you, and yes, Bill, I was born there too which is my qualification for sticking my oar in now and again! TCS.
