My ancestors lived at 33 Terminus Road Brighton at the time of the 1871 census. I visited Brighton recently and tried to find this house. Present day no 33 is now part of a modern block of houses built around 1990. Further down the hill to the station are older properties with what looks like their original windows and door scrapers at the door ways. Can someone tell me please whether this row of houses were bombed in WW2 or whether they were redeveloped through neglect? Thanks for your help!
