I used to regularly visit the Saturday morning market in Upper Gardner Street, working from Trafalgar Street to Gloucester Road. Just after turning towards Queens Road was Ma Diplock’s yard, and always parked in it was a 3 wheeled delivery van. There was no steering wheel, just handlebars and girder forks to the single front wheel. Did others see this, and if they did, do they know what ever happened to it?
