I have come across a 1950’s postcard advertising Val’s Taverne at 11 Chichester Terrace. The postcard has an interior shot of the bar with a woman standing in front of the bar, presumed to be Val. The room featured has been identified with the current occupant. Who was Val? Did she live at No.11? Does anyone know anything about the bar?
