A plaque on this building states that it is on the site of “…. premises occupied by the Brighton Gazette, Hove Post and Sussex Telegraph, which published its final edition in 1981.”
I have read elsewhere on this site that the final edition of the Brighton Gazette was published on 9 March 1985, but my real query concerns the Hove Post and Sussex Telegraph, which I have not heard of previously.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?
