With so many of the regular contributors doing so from seeming exile, it begs the above question.
For myself, I never yearned to live anywhere else.
‘Needs must when the devil drives’ they say, so at the roll of a dice, I embraced the opportunity presented by a company reorganisation, that offered me a house move to the South West.
Yes I miss the ‘Old Place’, but we as a family have been very happy here, and the Children have met, married, had issue and settled here.
I must visit again soon though.
