28th May 2020
“Mayra and Paul clapping for the NHS and other key workers in Sudeley Street.
On Thursday 26th March 2020 the whole country joined together in clapping their hands, their saucepans and anything else that made a noise. The loud applause was to thank the estimated 1.3 million Britons who work for the NHS and other key workers as they battled the coronavirus from the front line.
The founders of the initiative asked that after 10 weeks of clapping, 28th May was the final applause.”
