Jubilee celebrations
Fifty golden years
This year Carlton Hill Primary School is celebrating fifty golden years of educating local primary school age children. To mark this important milestone, we are seeking former pupils, staff, or anyone with links to the school to help celebrate this jubilee year.
Jubilee events in June
In June, the school is holding a series of events – an assembly of history for the pupils; a tea party for ex alumni; and a jubilee Summer fair. We are looking for volunteers to help with all these events and activities so that we can make this a very special celebration.
Memories to share?
Do you remember the school? Were you here in the swinging 1960s, flamboyant 1970s, glossy 1980s and 1990s, or in the new millennium? Do you have any funny stories or fond memories about your schooldays to share? We would love to connect the pupils of today with their school’s historic past.
Get in contact
If you were, or are, a pupil, a parent, a school governor, a member of staff, a friend of the school, or a neighbour who knows the area well, we would love to hear from you. Contact me in the first instance and help to make this fiftieth celebration a time to remember. Email: sian.tilling@gmail.com
