Any one remember the bakery that was just up from the Markets. It stood on a corner of I think Ditchling Road and ?? Road. I remember during an air raid the glass windows being blown out. I had just walked past with my grandmother and they came out in slow motion.We of course ran out of the way.The raid must have been somewhere close. I used to have a piece of their bread pudding 1/2d as a treat.
