I have read a little about a time when a number of film studios existed in the Brighton and Hove area, during I think the silent era.I have seen also by the beach along the far reaches of Hove some rather extravagent and{if memory serves me well} some Spanish/Moorish influenced houses more Santa Barbara than Brighton/Hove ,that were stars homes???Does anyone know anything about this or can simply correct me???
