I was just looking at the achive messages about my old school (see above) i am 24 and used to go from when i was 4 till 11 i was there on the change over. the school moved from st martins street to hartington road in about 1989/1990 i was there for the opening day and i was one of the first kids in reception at the new location!
The old school from my memories were big and old my old teachers were lovely and iam sad to see it as flats, there was a rumour that there was a ghost in the toilets of which my friend saw and the teachers rushed in thinking a man had broken in…….he was never to be seen again! love to hear from your old memories!!!
