My maternal grandfather ran Carrington’s Boot Shop in 17 & 18St. Georges Road, Kemp Town,from about 1899 to 1903.
There did exist a professional photograph of the front of shop showing grandfather and a boy. A whitewash sign in the window said ” Best Boots 2/6d “
Any idea how one might trace a copy ?
