We were not allowed to put new shoes on the table,green was considered bad luck, as were Lilies brought into the house.Salt if spilt had to be thrown over shoulder,left I think.Adults were always to be addressed as Mrs Mr aunty uncle etc.I am sure our readers can jog my memory with many more.
