Rings of Hove by Caroline Carter 24 March 2010Further to my previous enquiry does anyone have memories of it/staff from the 1980s? Who took it on when the original Mr Ring passed away?2 replies Re: Rings of Hove by TonyV 26 March 2010I left Rings in 1954 to open Blatcxhingtons of blatchington Road, a carpet/fabric shop, at John Ring’s request. By the time of John ring’s death I had left and was working for Johnson brothers, but I recall that his Daughter, June Cutress, and his sister Ruth wre involved in trying to continue the business, bt I didn’t keep in touch and don’t know the details. Mr Ring senior, Nick Ring (son), Mr Stone, Mr Bennett (Manager), Mr Woolgar, Vanessa Gold (Gorgeous), Mrs Holley (Office).
