Does anyone know of the existence of a Brighton Picture Gallery in the 1820s or 1830s? I have seen an image of a print entitled ‘Brighton Picture Gallery’ where the visitors are wearing regency dress. I don’t think the Pavilion or Museum started displaying pictures until the 1860s. Many thanks.
