I watched, with emotion, TV coverage of the 70th anniversary of the Dunkirk Evacuation and some original footage with all it’s horror and heroism.
In a tribute to the people who went to the rescue of the many thousands of troops stranded on the beaches of Dunkirk 70 years ago, the (new) Prime Minister said “It is a testament to the courage and endeavour of British people.”
History tells us, the importance of the “Little Ships” cannot be overstated. As several Brighton boats were involved, would it be fitting to put on record, on My B&H, personal accounts from families of those involved in this historical event?
If anyone has any they are willing to share I, for one, would like to read them.
