According to a marriage record in 1870 of Dence Weller Campbell, who was living at Black Lion Inn, Surrey Street, his father John Campbell was a Publican, (wifes name Esther) where? I have googled various ways, there was a pub called the The Flowing Stream, but there again he may be a publican elsewhere in Brighton. In 1871 John lived in Gloucester Road, recorded as a Licensed Victualler.
Can anyone Help with the name of the pub please.
