Kevin Fossey

by Geoffrey Mead 29 June 2016

Local historians will be sad to hear that Kevin Fossey has died aged 65. Kevin was head teacher at a number of local schools in Hollingdean, Saltdean and latterly at the Dharma Buddhist school in Patcham. In 1980 he worked with Sue Berry[then Farrant] and Adrian Peasgood on ‘Growth of B&H:1840-1939’ where he wrote the chapter on Brighton slum housing, one of the first detailed studies of the poor districts of the resort. His funeral is at Woodvale tomorrow 30th June.
