I have walked along St Nicholas Road for longer than I care to mention and I have always wondered WHY the houses are called St Nicholas House, Arnold House, Warren Lodge and Bingham House.
What links them? Why three houses and a lodge? St Nicholas is obviously after the Road and/or church, but Warren, Bingham, Arnold?
