Hello,
I am currently looking for anything on Canada’s highest decorated World War One Army Recruit who was born in Durham and is buried in Brighton’s Extra Mural Cemetery. Apparently Captain McKean was married in Brighton but I have no idea where. Can anyone tell me? I have also written an email to Prime Minister Trudeau in Canada requesting that someone from the Canadian Army pay tribute to Captain McKean’s grave on Armistice Day 100 years as I am sure no one as yet has done so from that amazing country.
