I am researching a Dean May, and have found through the UK, Apprentices Indentures that he was a Boat builder Born 1750 Brighton – 1798. Is there anywhere else that I could find information on him? I have searched all the ancestry web sites. But thought maybe there was a museum or such like that may hold info on Boat Builders.
He was my partners 5 x great-grandfather. Many thanks
